Fort Myers teen found safe, AMBER Alert canceled

FORT MYERS, Fla. An AMBER Alert issued for a 14-year-old girl has been cancelled and she has been found safe, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said.

Jessica Matias-Francisco, along with Paulo Mateo Pedro Tomas, 18, were located during a Florida Highway Patrol traffic stop in Lake City moments after the alert was issued, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
