A man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for a 2022 murder in Lee County.
Twenty-six-year-old Hector Edgardo Perdomo shot and killed a man on November 13, 2022, in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant and bar.
Another person was shot but survived.
Perdomo received a 40-year prison sentence for second-degree murder with a firearm, including a 25-year minimum.
For attempted second-degree murder, he was sentenced to 30 years with a 20-year minimum. He also received a five-year sentence for aggravated assault with a firearm.
The Fort Myers Police Department conducted the investigation.
The U.S. Marshals Service apprehended Perdomo in Slidell, Louisiana.
