FORT MYERS, Fla. — Several sheriff’s deputies are on scene around the intersection of Ortiz Avenue and Colonial Boulevard where three escaped juvenile inmates were apprehended, WINK News has learned. Ortiz Avenue was temporarily blocked off as a helicopter circled above the area near the Southwest Florida Regional Juvenile Detention Center at 2525 Ortiz Ave.
