FORT MYERS, Fla. A serious crash blocks a portion of Summerlin Road Friday afternoon.
The crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Maple Drive and Summerlin Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Traffic on the northbound lanes of Summerlin Road is being diverted to Maple Drive.
According to Lee County Sheriff’s Office, three people have been transported to the hospital.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time.
