SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. An apparent murder-suicide left a man and a woman dead Monday at the Channelside Apartments, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
John Perez, 46, shot and killed his wife, Breanna, 38, and the three dogs in their home on the 15300 block of Ballast Point Drive, the sheriff’s office said.
The sheriff’s office earlier identified Perez as the victim of a killing but declined to release further details.
The case remains active as detectives process evidence and complete reports, the sheriff’s office said.
