FORT MYERS, Fla. Beaches in both Collier and Lee counties don’t have unsafe levels of bacteria in the water, officials said Wednesday.
Precautionary swim advisories were lifted in both counties after Department of Health tests came back clean in the wake of Hurricane Irma.
“No beaches are under a post-Hurricane Irma advisory,” said Betsy Clayton, a Lee County spokesperson.
Out of the 50 beaches in Lee County, three tested moderate, and the others were classified as good.
Data wasn’t available online for Collier County beaches.
