A national organization has rolled in to feed victims of Hurricane Irma. Operation BBQ Relief came in from Houston where they say they fed 371,000 people following Hurricane Harvey.
The organization of volunteers from all over the country says it will stay posted up outside of Germain Arena as long as there is a need for warm meals.
To place a food order with Operation BBQ Relief call 913-915-1059. They will make meals for organizations of 50 or more. Lunch orders must be placed by 7:00 p.m. the day before and dinner orders must be placed by 10:00 a.m. the same day.
