FORT MYERS, Fla. A 22-year-old woman was killed Friday in a crash on Six Mile Cypress Parkway, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at around 5:02 p.m. on Six Mile Cypress Parkway at International Center Boulevard, the FHP said.
The victim, whose identity was not released pending next of kin notification, was driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla southbound on Six Mile Cypress Parkway, the FHP said.
The victim crossed over the grass median, entered the northbound lanes of the road and drove into the path of Karissa Amelia Moor, 30, of Naples, who was driving a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, the FHP said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and Moor was taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center with minor injuries, the FHP said.
