CAPE CORAL, Fla. The first billboards ever allowed in the city are beginning to take shape.
Crews are putting up electronic billboards next to the Welcome Center at the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge and on Veterans Parkway near the Midpoint Memorial Bridge.
City Council approved the signs last year. They’ll feature a mix of commercial advertising and public information.
