CAPTIVA, Fla. A large fire consumed at least two homes on Upper Captiva Friday night.
The fire started at around 11:30 p.m. and completely destroyed a three-story home on the 4300 block of Sol Vista Drive. The blaze severely damaged another nearby home.
The flames were completely extinguished at around 5:00 a.m. Saturday.
Fire crews from across Southwest Florida went to Pineland Marina in Bokeelia to board boats to get to the home, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no one was injured, the Upper Captiva Fire Department said.
No further information is immediately available.
