CAPE CORAL, Fla. At least one person was shot Thursday night in the 2100 block of Kismet Parkway West, the Cape Coral Police Department said.
The victim was taken to a hospital and suffering life-threatening injuries, police said.
Traffic is being diverted from diverted in the 2200-1900 blocks of Kismet, according to police.
Residents can expect to see police activity in the area until Friday morning.
The shooting doesn’t appear to be random and poses no threat to the public, police said.
