LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. A fire engulfed a home early Thursday morning on Count Street East, Lehigh Acres Fire Marshal Ken Bennett said.
The fire began shortly before 4 a.m. at the 1000 block of Count Street East, Bennett said. Crews were able to contain the 30 to 40 foot flames at around 4:30 a.m.
The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, Bennett said.
The cause of the fire is unclear and remains under investigation.
