LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. A brush fire burning near State Road 82 and Bell Boulevard is 100 percent contained, the Florida Forest Service said.

The fire began Sunday afternoon around Joponica Avenue South and Meadow Road, the Lee County Public Safety department said. It grew to an estimated 5 acres, the forest service said.
It’s unclear whether the blaze posed a threat to homes. No further information is immediately available.
