FORT MYERS, Fla. Authorities have identified a woman believed to have been killed Friday in Pine Manor.
The body of Alexandra Figueroa, 28, was found on 11th Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Friday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
The Department of Children and Families took Figueroa’s child into custody. The age of the child is unclear.
The circumstances leading to Figueroa’s death remain unknown. The sheriff’s office continues to investigate.
