CAPE CORAL, Fla. A Cape Coral man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for possession of child pornography, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
The FBI found 65,000 images and 668 videos of child pornography on four thumb drives at the home of 41-year-old Joseph Spradlin, 2814 NW 4th Ave., according to the Justice Department. Spradlin, who accepted a plea agreement Dec. 9, also took pornographic photos and videos of an 8-year-old girl at least two times, investigators said.
The case was prosecuted in Project Safe Childhood, a federal initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
