CAPE CORAL A father claims his son caught his teacher watching pornography on a school computer.
The father, who wished to remain unidentified, said his 12-year-old son was sitting in the front row of class at Six Mile Charter Academy when he spotted his teacher looking at a pornographic image on her computer.
The sixth-grader went and told the principal that day. He later received a phone call from the school, saying these were serious allegations and that they will be conducting an investigation.
However, the school instead decided to reassign the teacher to a fifth grade class.
“In a situation where someone would be accused of this, we would do a complete forensics on their laptop or any type of devices that they use,” said Colleen Reynolds, a spokesperson for Charter Schools USA. “If they don’t corroborate with the allegation, then we have to assume it is incorrect information.”
But the father still believes the teacher needs to be fired.
