FORT MYERS, Fla. A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection to a Saturday armed robbery, the Fort Myers Police Department said.
Marquis Drake, of 3135 Edison Ave., is accused of robbing the 7-Eleven at 4020 Fowler St. early Saturday morning.
A struggle took place after Drake and a second suspect confronted two people and attempted to forcefully rob them, police said. All of them were hurt in the confrontation, and some sustained serious injuries, according to police.
Drake’s condition is unclear. He’s currently in custody with no bond set.
