LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. Two brush forced evacuations and burned at least one home Sunday afternoon, officials said.
One is burning near the intersection of Grant Boulevard and Charwood Avenue South, Lehigh Acres Fire Rescue said. Another is near 3213 43rd St. SW.
Officials knocked on doors and told residents in the vicinity of both fires to go to Veterans Community Park at 55 Homestead Road S.
The extent of the damage to the home, which was near Grant and Charwood, is unclear.
Multiple units are on scene as firefighters work to extinguish the flames.
