SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. One person died after an attempted burglary at Heronwood Apartments near Florida SouthWestern State College early Saturday morning, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to the apartment complex around 5 a.m. A burglary suspect had a seizure while trying to break into a unit, an FSW spokesperson said.
The suspect died after being transported to Lee Memorial Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
