SANIBEL, Fla. Crews are working to repair the damage from a water main break early Thursday morning that left approximately 1,500 customers without water, Sanibel City officials said.
The break happened at around 11 p.m. Wednesday night near the area near the Sanibel Causeway — west of Shell Pointe Boulevard, according to city officials.
Westbound traffic has been reduced to one lane between Summerlin Road and Shell Pointe Boulevard, city officials said.
It is unclear when the issue will be resolved.
