FORT MYERS, Fla. – The driver of a vehicle that crashed on Summerlin Road Monday night suffered a “fatal wound” before hitting a concrete retainer wall, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said. Investigators did not exactly say how Friedrich “Fritz” Dirk Timmermann, 43, died.
